Die Tirando-Passagen wurden erweitert, um dem Spieler das Studium einer nuancierten und professionellen Arpeggiotechnik zu ermöglichen. Auch das Legatospiel wird berücksichtigt.
Die in Pro Tirando verwendeten Arpeggiotechniken dienen der Vorbereitung auf das professionelle Gitarrenrepertoire (verschiedene Barockkomponisten, Granados, Albeniz, Carcassi). Schließlich gibt es auch noch mehrere Stücke mit verschiedenen Anwendungen auf Pop und leichte Musik.
